DECEMBER 2006 AUSREO PROUDLY ANNOUNCES
MERGER WITH SYDNEY MESH & STEEL
It is with great pleasure that we announce the merger of Sydney Mesh & Steel Pty Ltd with Ausreo Pty Ltd.
As part of our continued growth and to ensure our Customers receive the professional service they deserve in the fast paced building industry, we saw it necessary to merge the two businesses.
Sydney Mesh & Steel has many years experience and has been successfully operating for the past 7 years as a family owned business within the building and construction industry of NSW, with service centres located at Wetherill Park and Penrith.
Both Sydney Mesh & Steel and Ausreo will continue to operate independently from their respective premises and we see this as an additional benefit to you, the customer, by achieving synergies in manufacturing and inventory.

AUSREO PROUDLY ANNOUNCES WIN
IN PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS...
Ausreo Pty Ltd is proud that the company won the New South Wales award in the AMP Business Award category of the 2004 Telstra and Australian Governments' Small Business Awards. Ausreo was incorporated in 2000, so it was a wonderful achievement to be one of thirty finalists in 2004's major small business awards, out of 4,000 national entrants.
The Honorable Joe Hockey MP, Federal Minister for Small Business & Tourism wrote to Ausreo, "the Australian Government is proud to acknowledge the initiative and commitment shown by small business people such as yourself, who are prepared to run with a concept and turn it into a highly successful venture… I am pleased that your achievements have been recognised."
The awards were judged on six criteria, covering all aspects of a small business. The first criteria was the business itself. Each business's history and vision for the future was assessed, in a review of a company's past performance and goals for the future. The second criteria concerned the business's customers, how it attracted and kept customers, and how customer satisfaction was measured. The third criteria was the company's people: how did it retain, develop, recognise and reward its people? Planning was the fourth criteria assessed. How did the company measure performance, and how was the company's strategy and direction decided on? The fifth criteria assessed the company’s utilisation of appropriate technologies in its industry. Finally, the company's financials were assessed.
Ausreo is pleased that in the face of stiff competition, and with such rigorous judging criteria, the company was the NSW winner of the AMP Business Award. The award is a validation of the company's vision, and a reward for the company's people. Everyone at Ausreo contributed to the company's win. We also know we couldn't have won without the support of our customers and suppliers, and sincerely thank them for their encouragement. The award fuels Ausreo's drive for further success.
Ausreo Pty Ltd is a manufacturer and distributor of concrete reinforcing products. The company was incorporated in 2000, and is developing a reputation for quality products, as well as for a highly professional and superior service, with businesses large and small throughout Victoria and NSW. |
