Ausreo is supplying 10,000 tonnes of concrete reinforcement materials for the construction of the twelve-kilometre underground railway link between the two Sydney suburbs of Epping and Chatswood. This is part of the long-awaited Parramatta to Chatswood line, which is the first major railway to be constructed in Sydney since the Southern Line via Regents Park was built almost 80 years ago. Construction on the link started in 2002, and will be completed in 2008. |

Ausreo is proud to be part of the Sydney Hilton’s new-millennium refurbishment. Ausreo will supply around 900 tonnes of concrete reinforcement material over the eighteen months of the project. The Sydney Hilton is set in the middle of Sydney’s CBD, and some 500 people will be involved in the project. Not only will the 34-storey accommodation tower be renovated, so will the complex’s ten-storey commercial block, and the huge car-parking area. When the massive, unsightly concrete ramps and wall on George Street are removed, a ground-floor porte-cochere will provide a spectacular cloister through the centre of the complex. |
