CHALLENGE: Traditional in-situ formwork for a 60 level residential tower would be slow.

SOLUTION: We identified time and cost savings in the early design stage using our 5D building information modelling software. Our engineers and operators prefabricated 48 steel reinforced columns weighing 3.5 tonnes each in our Sunshine factory.

RESULTS: Accelerated construction time | Reduced site safety risks | Lower overall project costs | BIM compatible design

Formwork:

Form 700

5D modelling detects clashes before it's too late

The complex octagonal shaped columns were detailed and designed using our proprietary BIM software. Output showed where potential clashes might occur on site, which allowed the design team to choose the optimal solution.

Off-site manufacturing drives efficiency

By prefabricating the 7.5m long columns in our quality controlled warehouse, we eliminated costly delays associated with inclement weather and reduced site safety risks.

High quality - easy installation

The columns were delivered to schedule and installed just as designed.
